The Women’s Country Teams’ Event is a Golf Victoria three day tournament played across various Metropolitan Clubs. The teams are selected from players in each of the 15 Country Districts across Victoria. The matches are played in three divisions with promotion and relegation. This year matches were played at Long Island, Cranbourne and Victoria.
Cardinia Beaconhills was well represented in the squad. Alex Hilliard and Laura Griffin were selected in the final team with Jenny Chandler narrowly missing out. Ann Felgate was Team Manager and Nicki Charman caddied. Congratulations to Alex Hilliard who was undefeated.
