Cardinia Beaconhills witnessed something truly amazing on Friday 29th September during the Berwick Volkswagen King / Queen of the Hills, with hole in ones recorded on the same hole… by a husband and wife!
In the KQOTH all 27 holes are played in one day. Not long after the early shotgun start, Sharon Lowden lived out every golfer’s dream by holing out on the par-3 15th hole. A couple of hours later the same feat would be achieved again… by her husband!
Ralph Lowden struck the second perfect shot of the day into the 15th hole.
It’s been estimated the odds are over 176 million to one.
