The newly formed concept day of Beacy Tribe Day was well received by members, with 114 members participating on the day with a 8.30am shotgun start in the morning of Saturday, 10 December 2016.
Members were divided into 4 Tribes – Kangaroo Reds, Wombat Yellow, Echidna Green and Kookaburra Blue.
Top 20 scores count towards the total from each tribe.
The winning tribe was Wombat Yellows!
The overall winner of the day was Trevor Perrin, 42 points from Echidna Tribe.
The other best scores from each tribe were: –

- Rob Kelly (Kookaburra) with 38 points
- Denise Toon (Wombat) with 41 points
