The heat and wind made playing conditions tougher than usual and there was a suspension of play for the afternoon field due to lightening but in the end, three professionals shared the purse, all finishing level with rounds of four-under 67. Joint winners of the 2023 Kwill Fabrications Cardinia Beaconhills Pro-Am were Kris Mueck, Euan Walters and Levi Burns.
After recent good form, Heathcote’s Kris Mueck’s scored his first adidas PGA Pro-Am Series win in almost two years. Euan Walters has been a member of the PGA Tour since 2005 and hopes for more success as he heads into Legends Tour events. Levi Burns, PGA Professional at Portsea Golf Club, scored a birdie at three, followed by an eagle at four and then another birdie at six to reach four-under. He got to five-under with a birdie at 14 but then dropped a shot at 15 with pars from there to claim a share of top spot.
