A Time Capsule has been planted in the refurbished Ahearn fountain on the 14th with various items of interest inside. Will it last 100 years? The fountain was originally donated in 1970 by Agnes Ahearn and family as a tribute to previous President Michael Ahearn. It was installed on Australia Day. The MF Ahearn shield event (played in mixed Canadian Foursomes format) was originally always played on that day. Big thanks go to George Grant for his restoration work and also to Ros Harding for the donation of a new bowl.
